Can't go anymore to the event for which you purchased tickets from Ticketmaster?
On some events, we allow you to offer your tickets to other fans, free of charge, legally and in a secure way.
Is it legal?
Our resale service complies with French legislation on the resale of tickets and is subject to resale policy.
This service is always offered with the agreement of the organizers of the event.
Is this a secure service?
We offer a secure service for buyers and sellers.
For the buyer, the tickets offered for resale are verified and certified. When a ticket is resold, we invalidate the barcode on the original ticket, and a new barcode is issued on the ticket sent to the buyer. This guarantees him access to the event.
On which events is resale allowed?
The resale service is only activated once the event organizer has given us his consent.
This service is currently offered at an increasing number of concerts and events, once the event organizer has agreed.
This service is offered at an increasing number of concerts and events, once the event organizer has given us their agreement.
When resale is possible on an event:
- the "Resale" label is displayed on the event page on our website
- the order is identified as eligible in your order history.
How much does the resale service cost?
The service is free. You offer your tickets to other fans at no cost to you as the seller.
If your tickets find a buyer, you will receive the original amount of your tickets.
How to sell your tickets?
First, log in to your account
In the "My orders" tab, your orders eligible for resale between fans will be identified. Then choose the resale-eligible order you want to offer to fans, then select the tickets from the order you want to offer.
Is resale limited to certain types of tickets?
No, you can offer for resale any tickets, as long as they were purchased on ticketmaster.fr, when the service is offered in accordance with the organizer and if your order is eligible for resale.
All types of tickets are eligible for resale: e-ticket, m-ticket, traditional paper tickets (even if they have not yet been picked up in store).
Some fares, as children one or fares subject to a proof of eligibility may not be allowed for resale.
Similarly, packages and certain tickets purchased during presales cannot be offered for resale. If, in your order history, your order is not identified as eligible for resale, unfortunately it cannot be offered to other fans.
To resell tickets purchased for event outside France, please go to the Ticketmaster site of the country in which the concert takes place.
Can I resell tickets purchased on the resale platform?
No, it is not possible to resell tickets initially purchased on the resale platform.
Am I obliged to put all the tickets in my order on sale?
No, you can decide to put on sale only certain tickets composing your order, and keep the others. When reselling your tickets, you will be asked to select the tickets you want to offer to other fans.
You can also choose to offer your tickets all together, or allow fans to buy them individually. In the latter case, it is possible that a fan chooses to buy only some of the tickets you have put on sale and not others.
Why will the tickets be sold a little more expensive than their initial price?
In agreement with the organizer, the tickets are offered for resale at the initial price.
What are the processing fees?
We act transparently and display all costs during your order and during its validation. The fees charged allow us to offer you a completely secure resale service, including the invalidation of the initial tickets and the reissue of new barcodes.
What information do I need to provide to put tickets on sale?
When you go to sell your tickets, we will ask you to fill in the information of your "seller" account with your name, first name, address...
You will also need to provide details of the bank account to which you wish to collect proceeds from the resale of your tickets.
Finally, in order to validate your account with our trusted third party Mangopay, you will be asked to upload a valid identity document. It will be controlled by Mangopay.
I sold my ticket? What happens next?
When you sell a ticket, you receive an email confirming the sale.
Then you don't have to do anything. If your "seller" account has been validated by us and Mangopay, you will receive the proceeds of your sale 8 days after the validation of the resale transaction.
Important: as soon as your ticket is purchased by another fan, its barcode is invalidated and you can no longer use it.
When will my sale be paid to me?
You will not be able to receive your money if you have not provided the necessary documents for the validation of your account by Mangopay, or if you have provided documents which have not been validated by Mangopay.
I didn't sell my ticket? Can I go to the event?
As long as it is not sold, your ticket belongs to you and you can attend the event.
If you decide to attend your event, you must deactivate your advertisement in order to prevent your tickets from being sold before the event.
Remember that as soon as your ticket is purchased by another fan, its barcode is invalidated and you can no longer use it.
I don't want to sell my ticket anymore. What to do ?
It's simple ! Simply go to your customer account and deactivate your ad.
Only some of my tickets have been sold, is this normal?
If you agreed (when you put your tickets on sale) to have your tickets resold individually, then choose how many tickets they want to buy.
So if you have more than one ticket on sale, it's possible that a fan will choose to buy only some of the tickets you put on sale and not others.
What happens if my event is canceled or postponed?
If your event is unfortunately cancelled:
if you have already resold your tickets, then it is up to the buyer to request a refund for their tickets
if you have not yet sold your tickets, simply request a refund by following the information that will be communicated to you by our services.
If the event is reschedulded:
Your announcement is then automatically transferred to the new date
If you wish to attend the new event date, then you must deactivate your advertisement in order to prevent your tickets from being sold before the event.
If your bank account is domiciled in Canada, United States or United Kingdom
Due to banking constraints specific to these territories, we unfortunately cannot offer the resale service when the seller's bank account is domiciled in Canada, the United States or the United Kingdom.
